Self Inflicted

Remember when I dove in to the crowd and I got a bloody knee under my skin, a mark from wiping out. It brings back the memories. Every bone's been broken, but my heart is still wide open. I can't stop don't care if I lose. Baby, you are the weapon I choose, these wounds are self inflicted. I'm going down in flames for you, you are the weapon I choose. These wounds are self inflicted, one more thing I'm addicted too. With each scar there's a map that tells a story. What a souvenir of what young love's like, jumping out an airplane or riding a tidal wave. An ocean of emotion, my heart rips me wide open. And I cover up these scars, and I can't stop seeing stars whenever you're around.

Sun-Maid Raisins

I just came home from Ranch Market and I just bought raisins!!!!! Well this isn't something people are usually proud of. But I used to really hated raisins as a kid. As I passed the rack with raisins I had this short conversation with my dad (and of course in Indonesian):

Me: "Pa, ini kan yang dulu kita suka beli." (It was my sister who used to buy raisins, not me)
Dad: "Mau?"
Me: "Nggak ah, dari dulu nggak suka."

So I just walked on, but I suddenly had second thoughts. I came back to rack, picked up a box, and read the nutrition facts. I also started remembering how I've been eating unhealthy foods lately. So I decided to buy the raisins, it's worth a try. Maybe my taste buds at age 15 is a lot different than they were at age 6. And I was correct, raisins aren't that disgusting after all. It's kind of good actually. But still I don't really really really like it, i just like it. So now I'm going to trade my unhealthy snacks with nutritious ones. And I'm going to try spend my summer with a much healthier lifestyle instead of watching TV or sit in front of the computer all day like I always do. If it doesn't work out, at least I tried, teehee.

Pushing Daisies

Pushing daisies is a TV show about a pie-maker named Ned who can wake up the dead with a single touch. But if the dead is brought back to life more than exactly one minute something of the similar life will die as if to keep balance. So before one minute he has to touch the revived person or thing again, because the second touch makes it dead again, permanently. Then Ned met a private investagator named Emerson Cod who accidentally discovers about Ned's gift and asks Ned to help him bring murder victims to life. One day Ned found out that Charlotte (Chuck), Ned's neighbor as a child died. But then Ned brought her back to life but they could never touch or Chuck would die. Mean while Olive, waitress at the Pie Hole doesn't know anything about Ned's gift. So Ned and Emerson Cod with the help of Chuck and Olive investigates murder cases in every exciting episodes.

Inseparable

I'm going to tell you about my best friend Amira Maryana or you might know her by the name Mary since I've made a few posts mentioning her name. I promised her that I would make this post.

So we first met in 7th grade, I barely knew her at that time. For all I know is that her father was friends with my mom back in college. In 7th grade all I did was say "hi" every time I saw her pass by and she would greet me too. Then in 8th grade we were put in the same class. But even then we weren't actually playing together. Back then she would be with Nape and I would be with Alya. Until one day something brought us together, believe it or not that thing was The Jonas Brothers.

Around September and October 2008 I started liking the Jonas Brothers and usually Mary would bring her magazines which has the Jonas Brothers in it and I usually would be borrowing her magazines in class. Then she started to like the Jonas Brothers too and that kind of brought us close but not that close. The second thing that really made us close was American Idol, especially David Archuleta. We'd listen to American Idol songs all the time. Then on April I moved to my grandma's house which was closer to Mary's. We really really really got close that time, we used to go home together and on Fridays we'd go to school together. And since then we were kind of inseparable, even our parents said so. And as the matter of fact in 9th grade we got in the same class again, teehee.

I'm predicting we both are going to have great futures ahead of us with a little help of affirmation that we like to do. And this is how we'll look like in 50 years, still cute as always, wheeeeee!

There's No Chance Unless You Take One

So the past is still the past. There's nothing anyone can ever do about it. But one thing's for sure: If the past is the problem the future can solve them. Well actually whatever happens pretty much depends on us, whether we're ready or not in taking chances. That's what I've heard though. So there's lots of things I obviously regret, but I'm pretty lousy in taking chances. So usually I just leave things just the way they are, unfinished.

As you can see I sometimes act like a kid. Well my question is, why do people want to grow up so fast? I don't know if it's actually just me not wanting to grow up or other people acting too mature for their age. Well I think it's a little bit of both. I mean why would you want to be a grown up when you can be a kid? In other words why would you want to think about a bunch of problems if you can just play around and have fun? I know we can't act like a kid forever, we're all going to end up having responsibilities and stuff. But my point is we don't have to change too fast, we can make the process a little bit longer.

People keep saying that it's time to grow up, I don't mind if everyone around me is a lot mature than I am. But what kind of bugs me is the fact that even elementary students are acting older than I am, but then again they're the ones losing the time of they're lives. Well, in the end I'm going to have to grow up anyway. But I'll just take my time...........

Fresh Baked Cookies

The best snack in whole wide world is cookies! Especially fresh baked cookies, they're the best. I'm posting this just because I really want cookies!!!!! Cookies are meant to be loved and to be cherished, well maybe I'm a little exaggerating but haven't you ever stopped and thought about why there are characters such as Angelica Pickels whom obviously loves cookies and most of all Cookie Monster. People are trying to send us a message! They're telling us to eat cookies. Well maybe I'm just being weird. Then again, who cares? I just want a cookie!

Diary Of A Jumpy Kid

Yesterday I bought a new book, DIARY of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book. It's really lots of fun, in the future everyone will have a copy of MINE since I'm going to be a successful writer (you bet!). Teehee! Maybe I'll scan it and post it when I'm done filling the book. If I have the chance though......
